Hello! :D Today we're gonna be talking about that one thing you see ALL around you. They're the reason your alive! And a big hint is ... most are green! Why is this? Well, we'll talk about that later. But today, we're gonna be talking about...
                                  ........
                               .............
                         .......................

Plants:) Now I think this is good for you to learn about. And not because it's interesting:P which it is! .. But, Earth day just passed, and I think it's good for you to learn about a BIG part of our world! Okay, let's start(:

                                                                      :)
Wow, how pretty! It's nice to see the varieties of plants, and learn how they survive in different environments. This is what we're gonna be talking about today.

                                     :)

  • Characteristics of Plants?(:
  • Where did the first plants come from?(:
  • What are the differences between vascular and non-vascular?(:
                               Hawaiian tropical plants and flowers
                                                                     :)
                   Characteristics!
  • All plants have this substance in their plants' cell membranes, it's called Chloroplast, which contains chlorophyll! This is basically a green pigment that helps convert water and carbon dioxide into glucose and oxygen.

                                                                     :)
  • Another thing all plants share that they are all multi-celled. What does this mean? It obviously means that it has more then one cell. Like humans, and animals are multi-cellular. We all contain a bunch of cells. There aren't many uni-cellulars out there. Some examples of uni-cellular organisms (only contains one cell) are Algae, Fungus, and Bacteria. (:

                                      :)

  • Plants also all have something called Eukaryotic cells. Eukaryotic cells are   organism whose cells contain complex structures within enclosed membranes. Most plants have roots or root like structures that hold them in the ground, But not all of them do...

                                                                            :)

Oh, did I mention how plants adapted on basically every place on earth?
  • Cool Areas..
  • Hot Areas..
  • Dry lands..
  • And wet lands..
  • Icy lands..
  • And Sea..

                                                                               :)

Where Did Plants First Come From?

Well, I know the answer to this! It's actually a very simple answer. Plants first came from the ocean. They evolved from plants in the ocean, one of the plants they evolved from was Algae. About 450 Million years ago, We got land plants! But it all started out from our friend, the ocean(:

                                                                         :)

                              Now....

                                        Differences:
             Vascular And Non Vascular Plants!
  • Vascular Plants use seeds to reproduce...
  • While non-vascular plants reproduce by using Spores...

                                      Vascular Plants(:

                               Non-Vascular Plants(:

  • Vascular Plants have channels that carry nutrients and water through out the plant..
  • Non-Vascular Plants have thin cell walls..
  • Vascular Plants have true stems, roots, and leaves..
  • But Non-Vascular doesn't! They have leaf and root-like structures..

                                        :)

Well, That's all for my blog today(: I hope you enjoyed learning about a big part of our lives, world, and nature! If you still want some more, go to this great website! Enjoy(:
