Heyyyy!!! its mee Zeina :) And WELCOME to MY Blog about.... THE SEVEN LEVELS OF ClASSIFICATION ON A ZEBRA!!, ..They're SOO awesome because it's the only animal that starts with a Z! (Atleast that i know of) And i just love their design!!Its soo pretty! Why can't I have a cool design?! ANYWAYS.. I KNOW your so excited to see my blog! but.. WAIT NO MORE! Here it comes!

This is a weird way to remember it: King Philip Came Over For Good Spaghetti! Cool.... huh?! =D Now, Let's get started!I know It sais "Domain" But that was made more recently, so they don't have it in most encyclopedia or textbooks. Soo the main 7 levels are Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Family, Genus, & Speices!
Okayyyy Soo first I'm going to say the scientific name of the Zebra. It's called Equus quagga! Pretty cool right? Even though most people can't say right. But Still! It's still fun to try! :) See, It's not english it's actually greek. I love greek by the way!
KINGDOMS! <3
Now, Lets actually start talking about the 7 levels! I'm going to go in order, So first is the Kingdom. The zebra belongs to the kingdom of Animalia... Which means the Animal Kingdom. Obviously, All animals belong in the animal kingdom. And a zebra, is an anaimal! Just trying to explain :)
PHYLUM!:)
The Phylum for zebras are vertebrates. In this phylum, would be the sub-phylum of the Vertebrata. That is a sub-phylum that is grouping which is comprised or multicellular organisms.
CLASS!<3
"Mammalia" is the class that the zebra is put in.. So its just basically mammal except "ia" at the end.[: Now... Mammalia are vertebrata that feed milk to their babies<3 This class has skin with usually not a lot of hair or atleast puffy fur all over them..Sadly because zebras are already cute enough, but with fluffy fur, they'd be soo adorable!! Don't you agree?? Ya, i know you do ;)

Here comes the order! The order of the zebra is.. Perissodactyla. Ya.. Something you don't hear every day.. Well Perissodactyla means a non-ruminant, with hooves, and they have an odd number of toes:) & not odd as in weird!! Odd as in 1, 3, 5.... you know what im talking about:)
FAMILY!<3
FAMILY!!! My favorite<3 There's not much to this one though. But the family level for the zebra is called Equidae. I'm loving these names!! If only i can say them right. Anyways this is a grouping that has zerbas, horses, donkies, etc.
GENUS!! :)
There's not a lot to this one either :( But the Genus for the Zebra is the Equus. It's in the greek scientific name! Equus quagga! This Genus is the serving group from the Family; Equidae. And... That's pretty much all the Genus... I told you it was small!
SPECIES!<3
Well there are different speices for differnt types of Zebras. But the zebra i picked was plains zebra :]The speices for this one is Equus Burchelli! I wanna have a cool name like that! :[Anyways this species mean that they would live near Central Southern Africa, or Kenya, Africa.
